Transferring Funds at Vault.bank – Important Information About Account Types

Last Updated: July 7, 2025

At Vault.bank, we strive to make transferring funds easy and smooth for you. Just a quick reminder: currently, funds need to be transferred from a checking account to prevent any issues or delays.

Here’s What You Can Do Now:

You can successfully transfer funds to Vault.bank by using a linked checking account from another financial institution.

A Quick Note:

Transfers from money market accounts or other non-checking accounts may not work right now due to system limitations.

If you tried transferring from a money market account and it didn’t go through, this is probably why.

What We're Working On:

Our technology partner has shared the following:

"We have a ticket for an enhancement that will improve this experience and reduce confusion. We’re also looking into enabling additional account types (like money market). We apologize for the inconvenience!"

We’re actively working on improving this process and will keep you updated as soon as we can support more account types.

What You Can Do Instead:

To complete your transfer successfully:

Transfer your funds from your money market or savings account into your linked checking account.

Then, initiate the transfer to your Vault.bank account from that checking account.
