Troubleshooting External Account

 

There are times when accounts may not connect as intended, which can lead to frustration, particularly when your primary goal is to fund your Vault account. The process of linking accounts should be seamless, but when complications arise, it can feel like a significant hurdle in managing your finances.

 

Several common issues can occur with externally linked accounts. One of the most frequent problems is experiencing delays in transfers, which can disrupt your financial planning and cause unnecessary anxiety. Additionally, there are instances where the external account may become disconnected, leaving you unable to access your funds or perform necessary transactions. To help you navigate these challenges, we have put together a comprehensive step-by-step guide for relinking an account that has been previously disconnected.

1. Begin by launching the Vault.Bank app on your device or by visiting the Vault.Bank website. Once there, log into your account using your credentials to access your personal dashboard.

2. After logging in, locate the "Accounts" section within the app or website. Click on this option, and then proceed to select "Linked Accounts" to view all of your currently linked financial accounts.

3. Within the Linked Accounts section, you will find an option labeled "Remove bank." Click on this option, and then confirm your choice to disconnect the bank account that you wish to remove. This step is crucial as it allows you to start the process of linking the account again from scratch.

 

Once you have successfully removed the previously disconnected account, you can now relink it. To do this, simply click on the "Add Bank Connection" option. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. After you have gone through the necessary steps, if you do not see the account update reflected in your profile, it may be beneficial to log out of your account and then log back in. After doing so, revisit the Accounts section to verify that everything has been linked properly and that your financial information is up to date.
